The BePART Educational Trust which includes Birkenhead Sixth Form College and The Birkenhead Park School, has been shortlisted for multiple prestigious accolades at both the Education Today Awards 2025 and the Educate Awards 2025, recognising the Trust’s exceptional impact, leadership and commitment to transforming young people’s lives through education.
At the Education Today Awards, the Trust has been named a finalist for Most Inspirational Multi Academy Trust (MAT), a category celebrating organisations that demonstrate vision, collaboration and innovation across their schools and colleges. The nomination recognises the BePART Educational Trust’s unwavering focus on raising aspirations, sharing best practice, and ensuring that every young person, regardless of background, is given the opportunity to thrive. Alongside this, the BePART Educational Trust has also been shortlisted at the Educate Awards for Outstanding Multi Academy Trust, which celebrates inspiring educators and institutions, further highlighting the Trust’s growing reputation for excellence and its commitment to student success.
Within the Trust, Birkenhead Sixth Form College has been shortlisted for Most Inspirational Sixth Form College and the Careers and Enterprise Award at the Education Today Awards, recognising the College’s exceptional provision, student-centred ethos and commitment to providing outstanding opportunities for personal and professional development.
Adding to the Trust’s success, Kelly Tisdale, Senior Attendance Manager at The Birkenhead Park School, has been named a finalist for Support Star of the Year at the Educate Awards. Kelly’s recognition celebrates her dedication to supporting students and families, resulting in attendance that is consistently amongst the highest secondary schools both in Wirral and nationally.
The nominations come in a year of continued success across the BePART Educational Trust, with students achieving outstanding results, securing places at top universities and progressing onto ambitious career paths.
We are honoured to be recognised by both Education Today and Educate Awards for our collective efforts, and we look forward to attending the award ceremonies.
